During this course you will learn how to:
Carry out an assessment to determine the underlying cause of blackouts.
Offer advice on self-management where vasovagal syncope or orthostatic hypotension are suspected.
Refer to a specialist where an underlying cardiac cause or epilepsy are suspected, where further investigations are required to determine the underlying cause, where self-management does not improve symptoms of orthostatic hypotension, and/or where there is uncertainty regarding the diagnosis.
