  • The rationale for creating psychologically informed environments
  • Using a trauma-informed approach

During this course you will learn about:

  • The definition of severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD).
  • An understanding of what SMD means for the individual.
  • The hidden problems and the impact of stigma, discrimination, and deviation from social norms.
  • Some approaches to SMD.
  • Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM), system change, and co-production in primary care.
  • The elements of psychologically informed environments (PIE). 
  • Trauma-informed approach and PIE.
