Presenter Biography
Sarah Philips
Sarah has been a Senior Diabetes Specialist Dietitian for the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust for the last 20 years.
She specialises in the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and diabetes in pregnancy. Sarah is lead educator for Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating (DAFNE) in Leicester, which has a population of over 3,000 people who use sensors and just over 350 people who use insulin pump therapy. She previously held a position on the national DAFNE executive board and was an honorary associate clinical teacher with Leicester University.
