Dr Milli Raizada
Dr Milli Raizada is a GP, senior clinical lecturer at Lancaster University and GMC associate. She is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and assessment. Milli has a special interest in lifestyle medicine and uses its principles to prevent, manage and treat common chronic diseases in primary care.
Purpose
This session provides an overview of uterine fibroids from a primary care perspective. It covers how to recognise common symptoms, when and how to investigate, and outlines initial management options in general practice. The session also highlights when to refer and how to support patients in making informed decisions about their care.
