Goals

During this course you will learn:

• The background to the condition.
• Who should be offered hepatitis B vaccination.
• To give advice to reduce the risk of a person contracting hepatitis B infection.
• To make a diagnosis of hepatitis B infection.
• To appropriately refer all people who test positive for hepatitis B infection.
• To admit people with hepatitis B to hospital, when necessary.
• To provide people with hepatitis B with information about the disease and advice on how to prevent transmission.
