Goals
During this course you will learn:
- The clinical features of hepatitis C.
- How to identify people who are at risk of hepatitis C infection and offer them testing.
- To refer all people who test positive for active hepatitis C infection to a specialist for ongoing monitoring and management.
- What advice to provide to reduce the risks of disease progression and transmission to others.
- How to notify the local health protection team if acute viral hepatitis is suspected.
