Goals
During this course you will learn to:
- Make a diagnosis of genital herpes.
- Make an accurate assessment of a person with suspected genital herpes.
- Refer all people with suspected genital herpes to a specialist for an accurate diagnosis, treatment, and follow up.
- Diagnose genital herpes in primary care if referral is not possible or acceptable.
- Provide self-care advice and treatment for people with genital herpes where appropriate.
- Provide treatment in primary care for people with recurrent genital herpes.
