Goals

During this course you will learn:

• The background to the condition.
• How to diagnose raised blood pressure during pregnancy and in the postpartum period.
• How to provide appropriate management to facilitate the control of raised blood pressure during pregnancy and postpartum.
• When to refer to secondary care.
• How to detect pre-eclampsia early and admit appropriately for further assessment.
