Goals

During this course you will learn how to:

  • Make a working diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in primary care.
  • Assess a person with suspected NAFLD including their risk of advanced liver fibrosis and cardiovascular disease.
  • Offer appropriate lifestyle advice and monitoring in primary care.
  • Refer people with NAFLD to hepatology specialist, if appropriate, for further investigation and management.
