Dr Milli Raizada

Dr Milli Raizada is a GP, senior clinical lecturer at Lancaster University and GMC associate. She is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and assessment. Milli has a special interest in lifestyle medicine and uses its principles to prevent, manage and treat common chronic diseases in primary care.

Overview

This module will take approximately 60 minutes to complete and includes the following elements. 

• The diagnostic criteria for polycystic ovary syndrome.
• The variability of presentations in adults and in adolescents.
• The differential diagnoses.
• Managing cardiovascular disease risk factors.
• Referral strategies and management in primary care.
