Goals

During this course you will learn:

• The clinical definition of rosacea.
• About the causes, prevalence, prognosis, and complications.
• How to make a diagnosis of rosacea or ocular rosacea.
• How to assess the phenotype, severity, and extent of rosacea.
• What self-management advice to provide.
• When to offer topical and/or oral drug treatment in primary care.
• When to arrange specialist referral to dermatology, plastic surgery, a skin camouflage service, and/or ophthalmology.
