Presenter Biography

Sarah Phillips

With over 20 years of experience at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Sarah Phillips specialises in Type 1 diabetes, T1DE and Type 2 diabetes, as well as diabetes in pregnancy and also young adults. She leads DAFNE (Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating) education in Leicester and is one of the senior specialist dietitans for secondary care diabetes in Leicester which supports over 4,000 sensor users and 450 pump users.

A member of the national DAFNE Executive Board and a previous honorary associate clinical teacher at Leicester University, Sarah now also serves as the lead dietitian for the Type 1 Disordered Eating (T1DE) clinic.
