Goals

During this course you will learn to:

  • Recognize the clinical features of male urethritis and make a diagnosis.
  • Provide appropriate treatment for men with suspected or confirmed urethritis who are unable or willing to attend a genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinic or other local specialist sexual health service.
  • Provide appropriate advice to men with suspected or confirmed urethritis.
  • Ensure appropriate management of the sexual partners of men with suspected or confirmed urethritis who are unable or willing to attend a GUM clinic or other local specialist sexual health service.
