Goals

During this course you will learn:

  • When to test for chlamydia.
  • When to provide appropriate screening for chlamydia and other sexually transmitted infections.
  • About the need to arrange referral to a genito-urinary medicine (GUM) service where possible.
  • How to manage the person in primary care if referral to GUM is declined or not possible.
  • About notifying sexual partners.
  • What advice and information to the person and their sexual partners.
