    • When and how to take a family history of breast cancer, how to assess risk of breast cancer and need for referral, what information and support to provide, managing hormonal contraception and HRT options​

Goals

During this course you will learn:

  • How to make an assessment of a person's risk of developing breast cancer​.
  • When to refer appropriately to secondary care or other specialist service​.
  • What general information and advice to provide the person​.
  • What hormonal contraception is suitable for a woman with a family history of breast cancer​.
  • How to manage a woman who wishes to take hormone replacement therapy.
