During this course you will learn:

  • The causes, prevalence, risk factors, prognosis, and complications.
  • When to make a working diagnosis of heart failure and refer to confirm the diagnosis.
  • How to manage symptoms, including breathlessness and fatigue, to increase exercise capacity, and improve quality of life.
  • Appropriate advice to provide on self-management, driving, and fitness to fly.
  • How to manage symptoms at the end of life and help plan end of life care.
